Gurugram, August 12, 2025: Debongo, the sporty-fashion footwear brand from VKC, has been honoured with the ACE 2025 Award (Start-up Category) by the International Council for Circular Economy (ICCE).

The recognition was awarded for GoPlanetD by Debongo – the world’s first fully sustainable and circular footwear line. This breakthrough innovation recycles worn-out footwear components, significantly reducing waste and carbon footprint while setting new benchmarks in eco-friendly footwear manufacturing.

The ICCE commended Debongo’s vision for circular innovation, resource efficiency, and leadership in sustainability, calling the brand an inspiring example for businesses in the circular economy space.
